My Story

From a very early age I knew my passion was related to clothes. I grew up watching my mother who was a machinist and this inspired me to want to make clothes.

My passion for designing clothes started from a very young age. I grew up watching my mother who was a machinist, and this inspired my interest in fashion. I dreamed about clothes and would spend hours looking through catalogues.This developed into personal expression and individual style, and now as a unique women with over 30 years experience in the fashion industry in London, I launched my own brand label ‘Jekyl and Hyd’ www.jekylandhyd.com

This role involves developing manual creative patterns for women’s wear dresses and separate’s, including tops, shirts, skirts, trousers, jumpsuits, and soft tailoring, in woven and jersey fabrics. My main role involves alterations following spec comments, attending fit meeting if necessary to see patterns through to sealing stage for factories

Seeing patterns through to the toiling process, involving fit meetings, and alterations to produce first samples. I am able to advise junior pattern cutters, as well as designers for technical requirements needed to ensure the garments were produced to there best.
